Happy Birthday Ethan!

Well Saturday was Ethan's 4Th Birthday party and he decided he wanted Scooby-Doo. So that is what we gave him. He was excited all week long and couldn't wait to turn 4. April made some chocolate cupcakes and a friend from church made some vanilla ones. Then she put Scooby-Do cupcake toppers on. Ethan's second request was spaghetti without sauce, which is what he had. It was a smaller party this year, only Nana, Grandpa, Grandma, Pop pop, Uncle Adam and Sarah. Even with only family and close friends Ethan was his typical bashful self when it came to blowing out his candles. Here is a link to a video of it :-)

Ethan's Birthday

So Nana had to help him with his four candles. He can be so unpredictable.

Then it was time for presents, what would a party be without presents :-) He got a t-ball set for outside, a few V-smile games, a football, some puzzles and some shirts. He has already put both puzzles together and played all the V-smile games. He is too smart for his own good.

It was a fun evening and Ethan loved every minute. I had to work on Sunday but April said when Ethan woke up in the morning as he was stretching he said "Oh man I'm 4!" He is so funny sometimes. Maybe everyone can come next year.....For now enjoy our pictures and videos!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!
We've been telling Lydia that she'll probably start school next year and enter the 4 yr old class (they start here at 3 yrs old but that's just too young in my humble opinion). The day after her birthday she woke up and said "I'm going to school today right?" When I said "No, why do you think that?" she replied "But I'm FOUR now!"

Hugs to the whole crew from sunny Spain.
