Our friend Sarah called us one day and said she had a friend who was getting rid of some bunk beds if we were interested. We were interested but not sure because whenever we had talked about bunk beds in the past Ethan has always refused to sleep on the top. So long story short we decided we could not pass up free bunk beds, so we went and picked them up. To our surprise they are real wood and very sturdy. We were expecting some partical boad style beds and they are not. Once we got home we set it up and within a few short hours Ethan was climbing up and down the bed and wanting to sleep.....on top! So now Ethan is sleeping on top and Connor is on the bottom and they are loving it.
Some nights they spend an hour goofing around but they always fall asleep....eventually. It is nice to have them in the same room and will one day allow baby girl to have her own room. Speaking of baby girl, she is almost here.....I can hardley believe we are coming to the end already. It is going to be a whole new experience but we are excited about it.

Those are the exact same bunk beds my boys have!!! Belonged to their daddy when he was little. Fun that they have the same!! Can't wait to hear good news about baby girl... ;)
What fun - history repeats itself. Someone gave us the bunk beds we had that Aunt Debbie and Aunt Becky shared and they, too, were real wood and wonderful. They will be a big help. Trust all else is well. I'm sure we'll see you soon. Love, Gramma
