columbus

last week the boys and i were able to spend the week in columbus with my parents. as usual we were on the go most of the time and had lots of fun! we were snow bound one day but other than that we were out and about--it is a lot easier to get out with another pair of hands, that's for sure. we made the usual stop at krispy kreme when the "hot"sign was on. can i just say, there is nothing better than a hot donut! -YUM! they also have play areas inside their mall that we stopped at a few times. it's a huge tree that has animals surrounding it for the kids to climb, slide and jump off of. very nice! i actually ran into one of my friends from high school at the mall, who now lives in columbus, so we went to her house for lunch one day also. it was nice catching up with her since i hadn't seen her in a while. we also did a special treat, and the boys got to go to chuck e. cheeses. they are both at the age that they absolutely love that place and ask to go pretty much every day. for me, it is just nice being around my parents, and the boys love their nana and grandpa! here are a few pics from that last week
