e's first day!!

Where does the time go? today is e's first day of school and i just can't believe it. Five years have gone by so quickly. i remember him being a baby, and it seems like just yesterday.
he woke up today and came down the steps and said, "mom if you want me to go to school you need to get my clothes." he was just a little excited. i know he is going to love it and make a lot of friends... i'm sure i will hear all about it once he gets home, and i can't wait!! last night his school had an open house, so we were able to go and see his classroom and meet his teacher. it's a brand new school and a very nice facility. he even gets his own locker. =)

i'm excited for him and sure this year will bring on a whole new set of adventures, that he is more than ready to handle. he is going to love every minute of it!!
please join me in praying that he will be salt and light to the kids around him, and that the Lord will use him in big ways!!
