three christmases

we had a wonderful christmas this year. lots of family and fun. travis's parents came in for a few days. we ended up having our christmas in the a.m. and my parents came over as well. we all had breakfast together and then in the afternoon headed to my grandmas for the dysert family christmas. everyone was there except my uncle and his family, who are missionaries in spain. we missed them very much!! there was lots of food, family and fellowship! i love the holidays bc i get to see my extended family more often. then my brother and his wife flew in on sat. and we had another christmas with them and my parents last night. my brother took the prize as far as the gifts he gave to the boys. he actually got e a nintendo d.s. and he got c a hot wheel track--which c had told every santa he had seen that, that is what he wanted, and a big wheel. there were a lot of other great gifts given and received, but those took the top prize as far as the boys were concerned.
we read luke 2, because that is the true meaning of christmas. as an adult, i can't remember a christmas that we didn't read that chapter on christmas morning. it was a tradition then and will be a tradition that we pass down to our kids as well. after all, Jesus is the reason for the season!! we hope that you all had a merry christmas and that you will have a great new year!
