we have a 6 year old!!

it's official! e is now 6 years old. he has been counting down for the last month! =) he had a good birthday day. he started the a.m. off by mom taking him to breakfast. he had to go to school but i surprised him with cupcakes towards the end of his school day. he was excited bc he got to wear a crown and a ribbon at school letting the other kids know that it was his bday.
that night he had chosen chuck e. cheese's for dinner, so we headed there along with mom and dad. he had a blast. they had a mario cart video game, that is different from the wii game that he pretty much played all night.
for any of you who know e, you know that he LOVES mario cart!
c and s got into chuck e's also. s got in to it a lot more this time than the last time we were there. she loved the toddler area. she also loved loving on the animal statues they have inside the car.
after chuck's we headed home for e's party. --well a party in this house isn't based on the number of ppl that are here. a party here is based on getting themed party plates and having streamers, so that is what we did. we got mario brothers plates and had yellow and red streamers and e loved it. e wanted a brownie cake, so that is what i made him.
he was excited to open presents and loved all that he got. he loved his bday and didn't want it to end. this age is a lot of fun and to be able to share in the excitement is a blessing!! we love you e and may you have many many more good years to come!!
