the two younger ones have gotten into a groove now that big brother is off to school. for about a week straight they were taking the cushions off of the couch and making themselves comfortable for "reading time." it was cute, but a pain also bc it makes quite the mess. they enjoy it though and they sit like this for a while just looking or as they would say "reading" books. =)
we have some news though. we are taking e out of the area public school and enrolled him into an online school that he will do at home. i really feel like the local school is not even coming close to tapping into his learning potential and i think this way will challenge him a lot more. we have been praying about it and feel this is the path the Lord is leading us on as of late. i am a little nervous bc i will be his "learning coach" but feel the pros totally outweigh the cons. this type of education is totally individualized so he is not going to be confined to the 1st grade "box." i'm excited to see where this path takes us and how well e excells at it.
