misc.

we had a good thanksgiving. we always enjoy getting together w/ family and just being able to relax. we had some good eating and wii time. =) it was a nice day all in all. we are very thankful for our family and the time we get to spend together. this year i have also been thankful for the opportunity the Lord gives us to grow in our walk with Him. through different circumstances this last year i feel like the Lord has really been stressing to me to just trust in Him. i need not get bogged down in the circumstances of life, but focus on my God who is in control of the circumstance. I am really thankful for His provision and love this year. i asked the boys what they were thankful for and e said video games--and if any of you know him, that would be no surprise and c said he is thankful for his family and that he loves God. =)
we are making it a tradition to put the tree up the day after thanksgiving and this year was no exception. c came in our room before we were even really up asking to decorate the tree. this year has been fun bc everything has excited the kids. we got the tree up pretty quickly and we are liking the end result. =)
in the midst of everything, e has also lost another tooth. that makes 5 teeth gone by 6 years old. not sure if that is normal or not but he welcomes the tooth fairy any time she wants to stop by and leave him some money.

i'm sure we will have plenty more to blog about in the next few weeks! this is one of our favorite times of the year!
