mom

i realize this is a day late, but i just wanted to thank my mom for everything she has done for me in my lifetime! ... i got to spend yesterday with her, so i didn't have time to write this yesterday on mother's day. =)
growing up in a military family, my dad, mom and brother were my only real constants in my life. my mom always made our house feel like a home, no matter where we were planted. my mom has always been a hard worker! when we were stationed overseas, she took on the youth group, teaching english at a christian school, teaching english to japanese students in our home and during softball season coaching teams. she has never been one to just sit. =) amidst all of that, she was ALWAYS available to us when we needed her. she took care of us when we were sick. she made holidays and birthdays special, and took time to make sure that we felt special as well. she has given me a godly picture of what a wife and mother are supposed to look like. i never have to question what she is thinking or how she feels, and i appreciate that. she is kind, loving, caring and willing to do anything for her family. she really is the best mom out there!! mom, thank you for all you have done for me!! i love you very much! i'm SO blessed to have you as my mom and also as my friend!! happy mother's day, you are the best!!
