happy father's day

i must say, i really have been blessed with the best parents!! my dad has always been the steady rock of the family. he is loving, kind, considerate, compassionate, prayerful, godly and goofy! i always knew, growing up, that he had the best interests of the family at heart. he has always been a hard worker and is always willing to lend a helping hand. he is always there to lend a listening ear... and has done so many times throughout my lifetime. he is always up for a good joke or a laugh. whenever it comes to big decisions he always prays about it first, and is pretty tuned in to what the Lord's direction is in his life. I know i give them a hard time about moving, but i really do admire the fact that he and mom follow the Lord's leading, even if it isn't comfortable for them or necessarily what they want to do. he is always reliable and dependable. he follows through with what he says he will do, his word is his word...... and i so appreciate that about him! i never have to question how he feels, and appreciate that too! dad, i'm so thankful that the Lord gave me you as my dad! i love you very much and am so glad that we got to spend time with you on father's day!!
