memorial day weekend

we were lucky enough to spend memorial day weekend with some of our favorites at their cottage, which is about 1 1/2 hrs. away.


we had a BLAST! the kids kept reiterating to me that they didn't want to leave.
the first day we were there the kids caught a frog and named him todie. this frog was a beloved friend for the few days that we were there and when he was set free, c responded "i'm gonna miss that little fella." =)




we had fun doing s'mores over the fire, hikes in the woods, playing in creeks, bike rides, giggling, swinging, walks, bonding, ice cream cones, collecting bugs, and just hanging out with our favorites! we made a lot of happy memories!
