mid 60's in january?

the last few days we have been enjoying wonderful weather here in akron ohio! it has been in the mid 60's, which is crazy for this time of year...but none-the-less we are loving every minute of it! just as we were feeling the starts of cabin fever setting in, the Lord blesses us with some nice weather so we can get out and breath some fresh air. Ethan is staying at my parents for the week and we miss him a lot!! but in only having two kids, i am able to watch connor and am amazed at how much he has blossomed into his own person. usually with the three of them i don't get a lot of time to just sit and observe how different their stages of development are, but with only having two i am able to observe how connor is as a two year old. he is a lot different than his big brother. ethan is our social butterfly. he has never met a stranger and we love that about him. he is also very talkative, inquisitive, and busy from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. connor on the other hand is quiet, very laid back and is happy to just do his own thing. sophie is also getting very big. at her 4 mo. appt. she weighed in at 16 lbs. --she has a 9 mo. old cousin who is 18 lbs., just to give a bit of perspective. she is babbling a lot, smiles all of the time and is a very content baby. we have been spoiled with this one that is for sure! i am so thankful that the Lord deemed me fit to be a mother and has blessed me with three WONDERFUL babies!!! I couldn't ask for more!! here are some pictures of the past few days. you will see two different extremes. sophie in a snow suit to sophie just in long sleeves outside in her stroller, enjoying a walk. we hope the new year has started off well for everyone and are very thankful for our family and friends!!
