Thank you Glass Dr.!!!

We are very thankful today for a company like Glass Dr.! Unfortunately we fell victim to some local punks in the neighborhood. Police feel it might have been a string of events all linked together. The punks, whoever they are, smashed our front drivers door window to break in. They rummaged through the car and opened the garage with the garage door opener. Fortunately from what we can tell they only got away with some pennies....:-) That is the only part that makes me feel good. The most frustrating part is that the van was actually unlocked and they did not need to break the window to break in!! Then to top off the whole situation we found out that our insurance has a $500 deductible for glass coverage even though our collision coverage is $300. Either way it turns out the final cost was lower than both so we were able to pay to have it fixed....thank you uncle sam :-) Thankfully we were not robbed but it still cost us money, so I guess we were :-) So after calling around we found the glass dr. and they came to our house and replaced the window right in the driveway. They wre in and out and we were on with our day.

The days are slowly getting warmer way up here but not fast enough for me. I am ready for spring, I have had enough of OH winters. Guess it is time to think about moving south. We are gearing up to do a few more projects around the house so keep your eyes on the post. We have some more plans for the kitchen, adding a back door out of the kitchen, moving bedrooms and painting and hopefully a few projects out in the yard. Speaking of the out doors, spring and summer means the kids can go out and play.....no more being cooped up all day and driving April's eye to twitch. Not really but there are definitely days they need to get some energy out and running outside is a great way. Summer, bring it on. Thats all for tonight, thanks for stopping by. Night

So sorry to hear your news. When we lived on 167th someone broke into our car while it was parked in the driveway also. We had what was called back then an FM converter because you could only get AM on the radio and they took that right out. Don't remember anything else other than the fact it was right outside our kitchen door! You really feel violated for sure. Glad its fixed now! By the by, Travis, you need a beautiful job on the floor - can't wait to see it in person. Love to all. Gramma
