Oma and Gramps come to visit....

We just had an enjoyable weekend with Oma and Gramps here. The kids love playing in the back yard with them and riding bikes. We got to celebrate a whole bunch of birthdays while they were here. April, S and C all have a birthday in July along with a few other people in the extended family. We all headed to Geneva to Grandma and pop pops house on Sunday to have dinner and cake for all the birthdays. C got truck and a bug collecting kit and S got clothes and hair ties to name a few. Then on Monday we headed to a local park to go swimming and play. They have a pond there with a beach and the kids spent hours playing in the sand and water. Then Gramps tried to fly kites with E and C but there was just not enough wind. They didn't want to leave. Of course they all went on some walks and the kids ride their bikes as they love to do. Oma and gramps didn't leave until 1pm on Tues. so they took the kids to McDonald's for lunch and play time to celebrate C's birthday again. He is four now and getting big. He has grown about two inches. It will already be S's birthday on Monday, she is already two....wow. We had great fun with Oma and gramps and look forward to seeing them again.
