this winter we have spent a lot of days inside because it has been so cold outside. 20's seem to be about the average for the last month.
since we have been stuck at home, yesterday i decided to pull the paints out and let the kids go at it. they had fun and did a few pictures each. the boys have been obsessed with the game "angry birds" so they decided to paint some of their own levels to the game.
e also had his first guitar lesson this a.m. a guy travis works with has offered to show e the basics, so we finally took him up on it. e seemed to really like it and is excited that he is learning how to play.
we are thankful that someone is willing to show him the basics because travis and i are clueless. =)
